Jordan's Reflection

1.) Why did you choose the concept you did to create your problem set?

I chose Transformations and Conics because I needed more practice with those units.  I think that Transformations is the second unit I have trouble with. That’s why I chose those unit because I need more practice.

  2. How do these problems provide an overview of your best mathematical understanding of what you have learned so far?

I think the best mathematical understanding in this project is when we generated hard questions, answer them, and I tried to explain everything I know.

  3) Did you learn anything from this assignment? Was it educationally valuable to you?

Yes I did. I learned that it’s harder to generate questions than to answer them. ^_^ I must say this is valuable educationally because it forces us to study. And I must say that this is the most stressful project ever.

Rosselle's Reflection

1.)why did you choose the concept you did to create your problem set?

obviously it is the easy part of the lesson but I choose this concept coz I can easily imagine the scenario or the situation in which I can relate myself into the problem. And this is our main concept. While we eat, watch television, walk our way home and listen to the music we came up with an idea to plug-in in our project .I myself become more observer while eating my smarties and the probability(possible) that we will have our test in bio by Friday. It is a challenge to us to make-up a question that the reader will understand and learn at the same time and we make sure that they will have fun and be entertain.

2. How do these problems provide an overview of your best mathematical understanding of what you h Otang: ave learned so far?

Actually I don't learn immediately by teaching it in the first day, in short I don't really learn verbally, I understand the lessons by doing the homeworks and answering the examples. By reviewing the past lesson, I've been able to exercise what I've learned so far and reflect my weaknesses. I know what part of the lesson is difficult for me and what part is more understandable. Sometimes it takes me time to dig into the question to understand coz I'm not really good in worded problems. so far I am beginning to like it even though most of the time I'm still straving. As I was explaining the answer in each question I've been able to understand the use of adding probabilities and the use of "mutually exclusive" part.

3. Did you learn anything from this assignment? Was it educationally valuable to you?

of course! definitely! this been a very interesting work for me, I've been able to stick my mind to precal even in weekends. It change me, how?before, I'm not comfortable in posing my work on the blog, I'm afraid anytime it's my turn to post the scribe, because either I might not explain the lesson and it would not be a help for my classmate for someone who does not understand it too or the subject is hard for me but I now It doesn't matter to me,It feels like, it's just natural. By viewing our finish project, this serves as a review on the exam especially for the provincial test. I've learned more on combinatorics and probabilities. This is such a educationally valuable matter to me not only that I Otang: can see the hard times that we've thru but also I begin to appreciate this subject thru out of my life.

Sharmaine's Reflection

1. Why did you choose the concepts you did to create your problem set?

I chose these concepts because I had a hard time understanding it when Mr. K was teaching it to us. During that time it confuses me a lot so I decided to make problems and answer it.

2. How do these problems provide an overview of your best mathematical understanding of what you have learned so far?

Developing problems, answering and explaining them provide an overview of my best mathematical understanding of what I have learned.

3. Did you learn anything from this assignment? Was it educationally valuable to you?

I learned a lot from doing this assignment. I realized that making a single question was really hard. It was educationally valuable to me because I can also practice while I was answering every question and I am proud that I am able to teach it to others.
